The exhibition concept and design for this international survey of contemporary filmmaking was developed in collaboration with curator Mark Nash and FWM. The design team organized the galleries around primary and secondary padded foam sound-sink walls to acoustically separate the works. Slits, cut in the foam, house fluorescent lights which leak light onto the floors. Critic Roberta Fallan writes of the space that “...the padded walls inside the screening chambers and in the hallways [are an effective noise block; the scrims at the end of hallways allow icy almost cyber-white light and are fitting 21st-century illumination. The whole ambiance was...a great psychic accompaniment to the videos.”
